Sunset colors bring a fresh, bold energy to celebrations. This year, we explored the vibrant mix of fuchsia and orange in two special events to start the season: a wedding and an Easter table styling. These colors are not just bright; they evoke warmth, passion, and a sense of adventure. Our recent projects pushed us beyond our usual palette, inviting creativity and new challenges.

The Allure of Sunset Colors: Fuchsia and Orange
Sunset hues combine the fiery intensity of orange with the rich, playful tones of fuchsia. This pairing creates a dynamic contrast that feels both modern and timeless. Here’s why these colors work so well for weddings and festive tables:
Emotional impact: Orange symbolizes enthusiasm and joy, while fuchsia adds a touch of romance and boldness.
Versatility: These colors complement natural settings, especially outdoor venues with warm lighting.
Visual interest: The contrast between the warm orange and cool pink tones creates depth and excitement.
Using sunset colors means embracing a palette that stands out from traditional pastels or muted tones. It invites guests to experience a celebration full of life and energy.
Our Wedding Adventure on Île aux Deux Cocos
One memorable project.. this year we started by styling a wedding on Île aux Deux Cocos, a small island off Mauritius. The location itself presented unique challenges, opportunities and the a spectacular view:
Logistics: We had to transport all materials and flowers by a small boat, which required careful planning and packing.
Floral sourcing: Flowers available in Mauritius differs from what we often see on Pinterest or abroad. But we adapted by carefully selecting each blooms that matched the sunset theme while thriving in a modern and different way.
Client collaboration: Working with a lovely wedding planner who shared our passion for bold colors made the process smooth and inspiring.
The wedding styling combined fuchsia and orange flowers with natural textures like driftwood and woven fabrics. The result was a vibrant, joyful atmosphere that felt perfectly in tune with the island’s natural beauty.

Styling an Easter Table with a Sunset Palette
Our Easter table styling took the same color inspiration but adapted it for a festive, family-friendly setting. Here’s how we brought the sunset theme to life:
Tableware: We chose plates and napkins in soft orange shades, paired with fuchsia glassware to add a pop of color.
Centerpieces: Floral arrangements combined seasonal blooms in fuchsia and orange, accented with greenery to balance the brightness.
Decor details: Hand-painted eggs and candles in matching colors created a cohesive look that felt both playful and elegant.
This styling showed how sunset colors, and any other colors theme, can work beyond weddings, adding warmth and vibrancy to any celebration.
Can't wait to style your event !
